Just resently our staff were awarded for their accomplishments in a promotion of house wines in our Tower Top Restaurant.

Employee for the month of February 2012

Employee of the Year Awards as well as Department of the Year were given shortly after the New Year.

Employee of the year was awarded to Rashid who works assisting clients and providing security on the front door.

Congatulations Rashid for Employee of the year 2011!

Employee of the Month of December 2011 was awarded to Zahor our evening shift houskeeper.

The Department that scored the highest score from customer comment forms was Reservations manned by Issa and Mzale.

On January 14th 236 Hurumzi had the pleasure of hosting Ken Forrester of Forrester Vinyards in South Africa for a seminar wine tasting at the Tower Top Restaurant. This was his secoond time here with us and we were so glad to have him back and to be able to accommodate him in the hotel.

On January 19th, 2011, wine producer from South Africa Ken Forrester came to our hotel and gave our staff a wine tasting seminar with wines from his vineyard. The Ken Forrester range of top quality wines has received much international acclaim and awards. His personal expertise with wines was well received by our Tower Top Restaurant servers.
